If you are just starting out in the events business or have always wanted to organise something of your own, even on a personal basis, this eBook will help you think about what you can build and how. At the end I leave you with a list of themes that might make sense to apply to your event.
My aim is thus to help you get started, with topics for personal reflection and more practical application, so that your first step is as sure as possible. If it isn't, as you will realise, it will be fine. It's part of the journey.
Ever since I was a kid I knew I wanted to be involved in organising sporting events. I didn't really know what that meant, but I knew that typical big brand tournaments like the Coca-cola
or the NikeI loved playing, yes, but I was fascinated by what was going on behind the scenes. I loved to play, yes, but I was fascinated by what happened behind the scenes. The opening of the Olympic Games or the World Cup was something that held me to the screen, not so much for the spectacle, but for everything that happened around the main star.
Today, I have 15 years of organising events and sporting events, and in the last 8 I have worked with the biggest brands operating in Portugal (Sagres, Deloitte, Microsoft, among others). I am responsible for the production of the biggest football tournament in the world in PT (Red Bull Neymar Jrs Five), and I was project leader of the second biggest event held in Terreiro do Paço, produced by the company Playsports in Lisbon, surpassed only by the Pope's visit (see photo). I am constantly learning and I don't consider myself, by far, a reference for anyone. In any case, I am happy to help you to take the steps that I have taken in the past.
For now, I leave you with my first ebook with what should be the first thought for anyone starting to design their event.
Shall we? ???
